I started Siddhi Mehta Consulting because I've navigated this process from both sides — first as an applicant myself, applying across multiple international systems, and later as a professional in counseling at organizations in India and the United States. That combination, backed by my College Counseling Certification from UCLA, taught me something most consultants don't have: what the process actually feels like from the applicant's side, and what admissions officers are actually looking for from the other side of the desk.
International and first-generation families face a specific problem — they're often navigating multiple systems, deadlines, and expectations with no one who's been through it themselves to guide them. I started SMC to close that gap. My approach is built on the belief that every student's story is college-ready; it just needs the right guidance to come through clearly to admissions officers who don't share their context.
